Later this year, our students’ learning will take place in our fantastic, brand new school buildings, where there will be dedicated specialist teaching areas for Art, Drama, ICT and Design and Technology; the Library; Dining Hall and Sixth Form areas.

However, some of our equipment and furnishing, particularly in Design and Technology, needs an update and being able to purchase new equipment will enable us to offer our students a much more exciting curriculum.

Budgets only go so far and, to deliver the curriculum to its fullest potential, we’re launching a campaign to raise money to purchase equipment and furniture that will create the state-of-the-art learning environment that our students deserve.

Our staff work tirelessly to ensure that teaching is of the highest quality and employ a wide range of strategies to support our learners. We want our students to become successful, independent, lifelong learners and well-rounded members of the community.

Whether you are a parent or carer; former student; member of the local community or a local business, we’d love you to be a part of our legacy by supporting our school and making a donation to help us buy some of these much needed resources. Every donation really will make a difference.

Have your name inscribed on our “Wall of Thanks”

We know that KHS is viewed with affection by students old and new; local families and the wider community, across several generations. Therefore, we have decided to offer donors the opportunity to be part of the fabric of our new building. Contributors wishing to make a donation of £30* or more (£100 for businesses), can have their name displayed as a permanent marker on a “Wall of Thanks” in the new building, in recognition of their donation. This might be something that you’d like to consider for yourself, or as a gift or commemoration for a friend or loved one.

* All donors contributing £30 or more, in a single donation (£100 or more for businesses), are eligible to have the name from their donation added to our “Wall of Thanks”. Only one first name or initial plus last name will be featured on the donor wall for each £30 donation.

Please note that if you choose to donate anonymously or do not select to share your contact details with us, we may be unable to reach you regarding the “Wall of Thanks”.
