Visit the charity's profileAround 350 parcels leave our 7 foodbanks across the city every week - that's 350 too many. Your gift will support the distribution of these food parcels, feeding people in crisis 3 solid meals for 3 days.
The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
The average 500g packet of pasta/spaghetti now costs £1.06, compared to the average cost in 2022 which was 87p. That’s an increase of 21.8%. And people are struggling to make up the difference.
We are asking you to join us in walking Edinburgh Kiltwalk on September 17th, 2023. Even a wee wander can make a big difference.
Your gift of time, energy, perseverance, and maybe a few blisters (!) will go a long way to providing people with the emergency food and advice that they need - not just now, but in the weeks and months to come.
You can take on this challenge on your own or as a group and become part of the Edinburgh Food Project team walking to fight against food poverty.
