Story
Join us this year on Glasgow Kiltwalk and help us raise funds for unpaid carers throughout East Dunbartonshire. Many carers don't know that there is local support out there for them. Carers Link supports and encourages carers of all ages, providing support, information, advocacy, courses, groups and a listening ear when needed.
Your support will enable us to help carers in their caring role and to have a life alongside. We will provide them with the information and support that they need to better understand their role as well as giving them access to groups and wellbeing activities to enable a better quality life.
Voluntary donations are crucial to Carers Link. We rely heavily on them to support our work as we are only partially funded by East Dunbartonshire council.
Quote below from one of the Carers that we were able to support with an Autism project.
I was struggling to find any good support to help me understand and care for my son. Then I was put in touch with the project and it has been life changing. I have learnt so much about autism but specifically the impact on my son's development and how we can best support him. It has made life for us and our family less stressful to know there is help when we need it. His needs are changing all the time so its so helpful to check in and get advice on how to deal with different phases in his development. I dont know what we would have done without their support. Thank you.
