During Mental Health Awareness Week 2025 (12-18 May), CHAP is gearing up for an exciting challenge on Friday, 16th May, as our dedicated team take on the Killie 2 Coast fundraising walk.
Every day, people across Ayrshire face these issues alone and in silence - often affecting their mental wellbeing.
As a registered charity, CHAP has been providing free, independent, and confidential advice and support for over 20 years.
But we can't do it without YOUR help.
To raise funds and awareness, we'll be setting off from CHAP’s outreach office at CentreStage, Kilmarnock and making our way to the coast to finish at the main office in Princes Street, Ardrossan - a distance of 18 miles. This is the first time CHAP has organised the event, and the team is keen to invite the community to get involved and show their support - either by donating or joining the walk at one of the checkpoints along the route.
In addition to raising funds for CHAP’s vital services, we hope to raise awareness of mental health issues and encourage open conversations to help break the stigma.
By donating or taking part, you're helping to keep our services free and accessible to those who need us most.
Each and every donation helps us to continue making a difference in our community - meaning fewer people have to face difficult times alone.
Every step counts. Every voice matters.
