Visit the charity's profileAt a colossal 5,895m, Mt. Kilimanjaro is one of the largest volcanoes to ever break through the Earth’s crust and is often referred to as the ‘roof of Africa!’
As you ascend through farmland, into the lush rainforest that gives way to alpine meadows, and finally traverse across a lunar landscape; you will you reach the peak of your Mount Kilimanjaro trek. Immerging through the clouds, the snow-capped mountain of Kilimanjaro provides the stunning backdrop to the National Park.
By no means will this be an easy feat, you will be pushed to your limits with back-to-back days of trekking. But your efforts will provide water for life for communities in Africa!
Water charity is the most rewarding of all as water is the key to all life. Yet across the globe, a staggering 785 million people are going thirsty each and every day. Water is a vital part of survival for so many who dont have access to this basic human necessity. Without safe and clean water to drink, these people are at risk of dehydration, disease, and at worse: death.
Every day communities across the globe are in need of safe sources of water for drinking, washing, cooking, rearing livestock, and watering crops. Yet for these millions of people, this simple essential is out of reach.
When we build a water system, we ensure communities have a sustainable source of clean water for years to come. We recognise the risk of drought, displacement, and disease and with over thirty years of expertise we know that simply drilling wells and installing water pumps cannot solve the water crisis.
We bypass short-term interventions and high running costs to instead provide long-term sustainable solutions, installing irrigation systems, building water tanks, training communities, distributing hygiene kits, and rehabilitating viable water systems.
Donate clean water charity now and help us to provide men, women, and children clean and safe water, an essential we all take for granted.
