Story
Two years ago, we asked for your help to make our school a safer place during the pandemic. We were overwhelmed by the donations and kindness we received. We would like to ask for your help again, but this time on a happier, more positive note.
An area in school grounds has been out of use for many years and we desperately want to transform the space into somewhere the children can thrive and enjoy.
Last year, one of our pupils, Abigail, won a competition with her beautifully designed entry requesting that we turn this plot of land into a library. She proposed a purpose-built cabin full of books to inspire the love of reading. This is somewhere our children will go to relax, read and learn for years to come. Having this extra space available will have a huge positive impact on our school and our children.
We have worked hard over the last year to raise funds to bring Abigails design to life. We have already secured 88% of the required funding. We know times are tough at the moment, but we desperately need your help to raise the last few pounds. In order to bring Abigails vision to life we need to raise an additional £5,000 this term. This will allow us to start building our library in November ready for a grand opening in January. We know that this is a huge sum but we are determined, and with your generosity and help we know we can get there!
