Story
Kent Giving Week is a week of fundraising activities raising vital funds for the University of Kent and its major campaigns, with a focus this year on raising £25,000 for The Parkinson's Centre for Integrated Therapy.
Thousands of people live with Parkinson's in the UK but for many, the right treatment is out of reach. Were determined to change that - we need your help to establish the UK's first integrated therapy centre offering comprehensive support to those that need it most, while advocating for new treatments that could give hope to so many worldwide.
The Parkinson's Centre for Integrated Therapy is a joint venture between The University of Kent and Parkinson's Care and Support UK, which will provide integrated and individualised non-drug therapies all under one roof to help improve the mental and physical wellbeing of those living with Parkinson's Disease.
A key element of Kent Giving Week is The Moving Challenge, a challenge to anyone who would like to be involved of reaching a collective distance of 5,000km through sponsored moving, whether that be running, cycling, swimming or even a sky dive! We would love you to join us and help us raise the money to make the Parkinson's Centre for Integrated Therapy a reality.
Thank you for your support.
