We are a scout group based to the west of York. We provide scouting activities for young people aged 4-18 every night of the week along with outdoor events and camping opportunities. We are a group totalling 160+ members, including our adult volunteers.

We have a long history of providing camps and outdoor activities for all age groups as a way of enhancing their scouting programs, providing them with different experiences and opportunities to develop skills for life. We find these activities help to improve our members adaptability, resilience and mental wellbeing while having fun and making friends.

To provide these activities we need transport, over Covid one of our minibuses became unviable to maintain. This has left us with our one trusty minibus. As we are growing and provide our outdoor activities for all we need to replace the old bus with a newer one. We hope to raise enough funds to do this as we don't want to have to run activities without the whole section team having the opportunity to attend.
