Kala School is falling down falling down falling down, Kala School is falling down, can you help us?

Organised by Child Rescue Nepal

Hidden up high in the mountains, Kala School has been forgotten. Badly damaged in the 2015 earthquake, it wasn't included in the reconstruction funding. They desperately need two new classrooms. Can you help us?

Child Rescue Nepal frees children from slavery. We rescue children, keep them safe and reunite them with their families. Child Rescue Nepal has rescued over 1,000 children but our work is far from over. We want to end child slavery in Nepal and we won’t stop until every child is free.

Story

Kala School is tucked up in the mountains of rural Nepal. It was badly damaged in the 2015 earthquake, but its remote location means that it was forgotten during the rounds of reconstruction. The school is now so unsafe that lessons are being conducted outside. There are many more children in the local community that should be attending school, but with the school in the condition that it is, they just don't bother. The school has very committed teachers but they just can't offer the levels of education that they would like to when their situation is so poor. The school also needs taps and toilets but we are able to fund those through trust donations. Are you able to give these children the classrooms they so desperately need?
