The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileThis September, a passionate group of justice-seeking cyclists, will be tackling a 280km, three-day cycling challenge to support the work of IJM. #JustRide, is hosted by IJM UK in partnership with St Marks Battersea Rise and St Dionis Church, Parsons Green.
Beginning in central London and ending in France's stunning capital, this years #JustRide champions will be cruising down England's beautiful country lanes, crossing the channel to France, and cycling through the French countryside before finishing in central Paris under the iconic Arc de Triomphe on Sunday evening.
#JustRide is raising funds for one vital reason: to help bring an end to modern slavery and violence around the world. Over 40 million children, women and men are held in slavery today more than any other time in history and the pandemic has only increased the vulnerability of people living in poverty encountering violence and exploitation. Your support will help IJM continue this crucial work to stop slavery and violent oppression for good.
International Justice Mission is a global organisation that protects people living in poverty from slavery and violence. As the worlds largest anti-slavery organisation, IJM partners with local authorities in 24 programme offices in 14 countries to combat slavery, violence against women and children, and police abuse of power by:
- Bringing people to safety and supporting survivors with trauma-informed care
- Bringing criminals to justice
- Helping local law enforcement strengthen justice systems
- Scaling demand for protection to build safe communities
IJM and partners have brought over 76,000 people to safety since 1997, and seen slavery decrease by up to 86% in places where they have worked and they won't stop until all are free.
