Please, please, please don't let this campaign die.
The Windrush Compensation Scheme is a national disgrace:
• Lowest success rate, highest refusal rate.
• No legal aid for victims navigating a flawed, traumatising process.
• 53 lives lost waiting for justice, with many more at risk.
The Facts:
• 15,000 victims are eligible; only 2,634 have received compensation.
• Compensation is slow, inadequate, and re-traumatising.
• Wrongful deportations, denied healthcare, work, and pensions.
• This is a human rights crisis, disproportionately affecting Black and Brown Britons.
What We’re Doing:
• Raising awareness with powerful films, music, and events.
• Providing legal and mental health support to victims.
• Pushing for systemic change and an independent oversight body.
• Amplifying victims’ stories to ensure they’re heard.
In a climate of anti-immigration and right-wing rhetoric, we need your help more than ever: Together, we can end this two-tier system and demand real justice. Your donations will help:
• Educate the nation and fuel our campaign for change.
• Provide crucial legal support for victims.
• Bring pressure on the government to act.
