Story

The Eden Dora Trust for children with Encephalitis helps children and families all over the UK suffering from the often devastating effects of both Encephalitis and Acquired Brain Injuries: supporting them through diagnosis, rehabilitation, advice, research, community awareness, professional workshops, study days, and lots more. Now, more than ever, we need your help to ensure we can continue being a lifeline for so many families.

The support from people who have been there, The Eden Dora Trust for children with Encephalitis, is genuinely invaluable. Its not a faceless charity, you know their knowledge is first-hand, and it means the world to know that there are people there for you.

We' have still been here for families; even amidst a global pandemic, but our ability to fundraise has been slashed due to covid-19 restrictions, however families need our support - now more than ever before!

I would like to thank the Neuro team and the general medical team for saving our little girls life. And a special thankyou to Petrina and The Eden Dora Trust for Children with Encephalitis for their continued support for Alice and me.

It is thanks to our supporters taking on events like our skydiving weekend that we can continue to be there for families across the UK. Without public funds The Eden Dora Trust would not be able to continue supporting all those who rely on us.

It was day 3 when I was told by the wonderful staff at the hospital about the Eden Dora Trust. I read each childs story and realised the full impact of this terrible illness and its devastating effects

Please help us to keep supporting children and their families when they need it most by donating and supporting our 2022 Skydive Weekend

Helping children and their families feel less isolated, different, misunderstood and alone. Working to save more lives & reduce the severity of the Acquired Brain Injury. We are the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to children who suffer from this illness - that anyone can get, at any time.
