Led by 'Sir' David Gray and Hibernian FC coaches!
Hibernian Community Foundation are excited to announce the launch of the second Journey Home From Hampden on Sunday April 13th. Following the success of the 2024 edition, HCF are eager to go bigger and better in efforts to raise awareness and funds for neurodiverse children looking to get involved in football activities.
In 2024 ‘Sir’ David Gray led a pack of 52 Hibernian FC supporters, coaching staff and cycling enthusiasts from Hampden Park in Glasgow to Easter Road Stadium in Leith, totalling 53 miles. Starting at the scene of Gray’s most iconic moment as a Hibs player, the gruelling journey acts as a pilgrimage to the home of Hibernian FC and gives fans the chance to cycle alongside some of their Hibs Heroes.
Money raised will help autistic and neurodiverse children play football with Team United, a game leader programme run by Hibernian Community Foundation. Visit Team United for further information.
