Story
Chailey Heritage Foundation is supporting Rockinghorse to help raise funds for camp beds for parents at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital at this extremely busy time during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Being able to staying close to a child whilst in hospital is of course vitally important. These beds will help them to get the rest they need and to manage what can be a very stressful time in hospital.
As long-standing Sussex charities, Chailey Heritage Foundation and Rockinghorse have worked together previously, including Rockinghorse pledging £50,000 to Chailey Heritage as part of their 50th Anniversary appeal in 2017. Now Chailey Heritage is coming forward to help in these unprecedented times. The Alex is where the children and young people from Chailey Heritage are often treated, like Lennon in the picture, a pupil at Chailey Heritage School, who has spent a significant amount of time there. It's also the children's hospital that responds when we have on-site 999 emergencies.
Rockinghorse (charity no. 1018759) is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital.
