Visit the charity's profileJohn Thomas "Mac" McAleese, MM served in the Elite 22 SAS, he took part in several late 20th century conflicts with the British Army's Royal Engineers and the Special Air Service Regiment, including the storming of the Iranian Embassy in London during a hostage taking siege incident in May 1980, when 19 hostages were saved.
He proudly served Queen & Country, our aim is build a fitting Memorial in his home town of Laurieston, Falkirk, Scotland.
