Story

J.Murphy & Sons have selected CALM as a Charity Partner for the next two years with the ambitious target of raising £66,000. That is enough to fill a seat on CALM's helpline and webchat service for 365 days of the year, answering thousands of calls and chats from people who are struggling with all of life's problems.

This partnership will also raise vital awareness of CALM's work in the construction industry which has the highest suicide rate of any industry in the UK.

Your support will enable CALM to save lives. This is how:

> CALM run a free helpline 0800 585858 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) for anyone who needs to talk about life's problems. The service is confidential, anonymous and staffed by trained professionals.

> CALM provide bereavement support through the Support After Suicide Partnership.

> www.theCALMzone.net is CALM's website. It hosts inspiring content alongside information and support.

> CALM run successful campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and mental health, including #ManDictionary, #DontBottleItUp and #Project84

CALM's helpline and webchat services directly prevented 588 suicides in 2019.

CALM's goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for everyone.
