The Jamatia Islamic Centre (JIC) is situated at the heart of the Muslim community in Birmingham, and attracts many worshippers from across the West Midlands region. Our aim is to create an environment of unity by providing all people with vital services and assistance, and in particular cater to the religious, social and spiritual needs of Muslims living in the west. In recent years the number of services being offered by the Masjid has increased, and following our last major renovation we now accommodate more worshippers than ever. We are now aiming to offer a larger number of services to the local growing community. Alhamdulillah we have completed both Phase 1 Demolition of 183 Woodlands Road and Phase 2 Foundation and Ground works. We are now in the process of Phase 3, the brick work and building of the masjid. We urge you to donate with an open heart, once all the work has been completed, we will be able to offer the following services:

Offer a non-profit funeral service to the community - providing state of the arts facilities. Including an ergonomically designed ghusl area, ample storage facilities, bereavement office & improved bereavement facilities

Create a purpose built Madrasa for the young boys & girls of our community. Including the creation of 10 modern state of the arts educational classrooms. Ensuring an institute for our younger generation, protecting them from the ills of society.

A youth activity centre for the boys & girls of the community. Including games such as football, cricket, table tennis, basketball, wrestling & much more. Also giving those who have not had an opportunity to play in the games room ; playing table tennis, foosball, table hockey, over 200 arcade games and much more.

Larger prayer facilities in the masjid main hall alllowing space for janaza prayers, larger prayer halls for our sisters with improved wudu facilities

An Elderly Day Centre and purpose built catering facilities for any events taking place in the masjid.
