Jesmond Pool and Gym exists to support fitness and health in our local community. Our staff members Phil, Tim, Alex and Craig are leading by example by taking on the fitness challenge of the return coast to coast cycle route from Tynemouth to Whitehaven and back over three days in August 2021. We will be following their progress on our facebook page as they try to raise £1000 for Cancer Research UK and Macmillan. Cancer has hit the families and friends of our cyclists hard over the last year and this has motivated them to raise money for two great charities .Between them CRUK and Macmillan provide vital funding to support research and care for people with cancer, providing a lifeline of hope to those affected. We have decided to raise money for cancer due to 4 staff members having to deal with love ones in lockdown going through the process of being diagnosed with cancer and helping them through there treatment.
