Story

eans for Genes week returns in 2024 between the 16-22 September.

Having created the Jeans for Genes campaign nearly 30 years ago, the CGD Society is pleased to be taking back the reins, with our objective to raise much needed funds for the genetic disorders community.

Your support over the years has been truly amazing and once again we are asking your workplace to join in and make a real difference.

Jeans for Genes week is the UK’s only fund and awareness raising week for ALL genetic conditions in the UK. Over 3.5 million people are living with a genetic condition, affecting 1 in 10 families. 75% of rare diseases affect children.

We fund small, community groups across the UK who don’t tend to get access to traditional funding. We fund specialised equipment, nursing services, respite for carers, helplines – whatever is needed!
