Story
There are over 170,000 people experiencing homelessness in London - meaning 1 in 50 Londoners are homeless. Further to this, 1 in 30 children are homeless in London.
Glass Door partners with churches and community centres to give shelter and support, because no one should have to sleep on the streets of London. Glass Door hosts Winter Night Shelters providing 105 people a night with a safe place to sleep and a warm and nutritious meal each night.
Year-round, anyone in need can speak with Glass Door's dedicated caseworkers who offer advice, advocacy and practical support.
Guests can access the advice and support service either in the shelters or during the daytime. The daytime advice service is made possible thanks to partnerships with drop-in centres.
