Story

On 13th May 2024, James Williams, Olympian, BF Board Member, BF Olympic Team Manager, GBR Sabre Coach and much respected member of the fencing community passed away after a short illness.

This campaign has been set up in accordance with the wishes of his family to raise funds to support disadvantaged fencers, a cause close to James's heart.

British Fencing is a small National Governing Body with limited funding. The BF Charity was set up to support people with the financial costs of accessing fencing, whether that's as part of social impact projects, in community clubs, or representing Great Britain to Olympic and Paralympic level.
