Story

On 12 October (his birthday), CNTW Chief Executive James Duncan will be jumping out of a plane from 18,000 feet, not just for the thrill, but to raise funds for the Trust's SHINE fund.

SHINE helps improve the experience of patients receiving care in our hospital and community services by providing therapeutic activities and items of comfort. These can make a big difference to patients and their carers, who are often going through one of the most difficult time in their lives.

"I’m fundraising for SHINE because we do great work through the charity for people who or are either current, past or connected service users and I hope my profile can spread the word and encourage more fundraising."

The skydive was a birthday present from James' son Will who's in the army and a qualified high altitude parachutist. James' son Eddy, who works for NTW Solutions, will also be jumping on the day.

By sponsoring James' skydive, you'll be helping SHINE continue to make a real difference to patients and their carers.
