Story
Jaiden is aged 3 from Enfield. With his perfect home birth and perfect baby our little family was complete. Fast forward 7 weeks later and every parent’s worst nightmare was upon us, our world had changed forever. On the morning of September 23rd, we were told that Jaiden had suffered a severe brain haemorrhage and our precious baby boy may not make it.
After undergoing lifesaving brain surgery and what felt like the longest week of our lives spent at GOSH ICU, Jaiden was extubated and transferred to a high dependency ward where we were told that he will more than likely need continuous care for the rest of his life. Defying odds already, Jaiden started to breastfeed again within a few days and his feeding tube was removed.
Jaiden is now almost 2 years old. He has received a diagnosis of Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy and Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). And although he is globally developmentally delayed, he continues to defy the odds, grow stronger and amaze everyone around him by the day. Again no one can tell us what Jaiden’s future holds but as parents we will do everything within our power to give him the very best opportunities.
We would love your support in helping to fund specialist equipment and various therapies such as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, cranial osteopathy, chiropractic treatments, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and MNRI therapy for Jaiden. The list is extensive, but we will leave no stone unturned when it comes to helping our amazing boy who has fought so hard to be here.
Thank you
