Story
For those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), sudden changes in routine and less social connections can be a very difficult adjustment.
Carla is a social butterfly who loves spending time with her friends during the day in the Oliver Life Skills Center. There, they learn new ways to become more independent and how to socialize with others. We need your help to allow us to pick up where we left off with our Cornerstone Day Program and other community activities as soon as it is safe to gather again!
Wesley Glen has adapted during this challenging time and continues to provide state-of-the-art 24-hour residential care. Although we miss our group programs like Cornerstone Day Program, Special Olympics, chapel services, and community outings, our incredible staff are working hard to keep each resident safe and engaged in new ways while they are sheltering in place.
Please join us today in caring for those at Wesley Glen. Your gift is needed now, more than ever, to continue this important mission.
