Why Inter Care needs your help
Inter Care is dedicated to assisting the most vulnerable patients who are unable to afford essential treatments. By collaborating with our partner health units in Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania, patients can access Inter Care’s donated medical supplies and receive their treatment at no cost.
Since its establishment in 1974, Inter Care has delivered £19.5 million worth of medical aid. Just last year, we facilitated over 73,000 patient treatments and distributed 1 million medical supplies, all accomplished with a small staff and the help of more than 40 volunteers.
Your support will enable us to provide even more medical aid to those in dire need.
Inter Care supports vulnerable patients in long-term care. Their stories are at the heart of our £50k for 50 years campaign.
Numerous patients, including some we have personally met, are currently receiving long-term care at our partner health units. These vulnerable people may be battling cancer, facing a significant disability, or dealing with an illness that leaves them bedridden.
Additionally, many patients' families face financial hardships and cannot provide support for their loved ones in the hospital; this is where Inter Care steps in. With access to Inter Care's donations of medical supplies, patients in long-term care will receive treatment at no cost.
