Insight’s charitable mission

Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) is a Leicester-based organisation that stands fiercely beside children with cancer.

In the year ahead, our team at Insight Consultancy will be standing with them. We will be supporting them to transform the future of childhood cancer, fundraising to support research that could rewrite the narrative of countless children’s lives.

About Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group

CCLG creates hope, ignites progress and discovers research breakthroughs for children with cancer. Their work is centred on a future where all children with cancer survive and live happy, healthy and independent lives. They do this by funding life-saving research breakthroughs in childhood cancer, providing information and resources to families coping with the distress of a diagnosis and by bringing together world class cancer specialists and professionals through their membership work.

Why are we fundraising?

There are 5 new cancer cases in children every day, with the rates highest in under-fives. That’s five families every day hearing the words “Your child has cancer”.

Our team are supporting CCLG to change that, by fundraising and raising awareness of why their work is needed.

Our Million Step Challenge

We will be kicking off with an epic Million Step Challenge, taking place in October 2024. Over the month, we’ll be ‘stepping up’ for children with cancer, by walking, running, and tracking every step we take, all to raise vital funds for groundbreaking research that brings hope to children and families affected by cancer.
