Story
Bill's family have chosen Seescape to donate to, in honour of the support given to Bill over recent years.
Bill had always enjoyed excellent eyesight as an adult but as he reached his mid 70's, unfortunately he developed dry macular degeneration. This had a massive impact on Bill as he had been a keen reader. Bill was registered as having a visual impairment in 2015. With support from Fife Society for the Blind, now 'Seescape', Bill continued to enjoy reading with the aid of magnifiers provided by the charity.
Other helpful adaptations provided included bright coloured 'bump-ons' for Bill's cooker and front door keyhole, both of which made positive differences.
Bill also enjoyed receiving the newsletters sent out providing further helpful advice and stories about initiatives in Fife.
