Organised by Ashinaga UKSupport Ugandan teachers providing education and psychosocial care to orphaned children. Donations will enable Ashinaga's teachers to complete further training and part-time degrees, which will impact thousands of students in the Nansana community.

Do you remember your favourite teacher at school? How did they impact you? This is a question that people all over the world have an answer to. The right support can change a young person's life. We want to upskill Uganda Rainbow House teachers so they can have an even greater impact on the students they work with. Upskill a teacher, impact a community.
Only 8.2% of students from the most disadvantaged communities in Uganda complete primary level education. Those who do go onto secondary school are held back by low-quality education built on poor primary-level foundations.In Ugandan secondary schools, only 15% of students are proficient in biology, 43% in English and 47% in maths.
Uganda also experienced the longest school lockdown in the world. For almost two years, children in Uganda had very limited or no access at all to education throughout the entire country. Ashinaga teachers conducted home visits during this period, but even our students missed out on a lot of learning these past few years. We need to make up for lost time through the quality of our teaching.
By supporting this appeal, you can enable teachers to upgrade their skillsets, which will be directly felt by the thousands of students they interact with across the school year.
All funds raised will go directly to supporting the teachers gain the right training from renowned colleges, universities and training centres in Uganda's capital city so they can amplify their impact in their communities. The degrees the teachers need are listed below:
Teacher Teddy: Bachelors in Primary Education, majoring in Management and Administration
Teacher Emma: Bachelors in Primary Education, majoring in Guidance and Counselling.
Teacher Lillian: Diploma in Early Childhood Development.
Teacher Phillbert: Diploma in Primary Education.
Teacher Peter: Bachelors in Social Work and Social Administration.
Teacher Carol: Bachelors in Social Work and Administration.
Teacher John: Diploma in Primary Education, majoring in Social Studies.
