Athletics Advisory Board Challenge

Every gift helps Illinois Tech Athletics go further in achieving our vision for the future. If 25 donors give to Athletics on Giving Day, we will unlock an additional $5,500 for the department. Why support Athletics on Giving Day?

Illinois Tech is an NCAA Division III institution as a member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) in all sports except Swimming & Diving, which is a member of the Liberal Arts Conference. Illinois Tech Athletics reflects the university's commitment to academic excellence and a dynamic student experience. Integrity, excellence, collaboration, responsibility and determination are the values that make up a Scarlet Hawk athlete. To ensure our success and to provide student-athletes with the best possible athletic and academic experiences, we need your support!

Your support allows coaches and student-athletes to excel in and out of competition. Your gift to the Athletics Department Annual Fund will have an immediate impact on the continued success of our teams.

Here is a short list of items that will require support from the General Athletics Fund to complete:

• A set of gear (shirts, shorts, sweats, etc.), provided annually for every student-athlete

• The option of international travel for our teams

• Air conditioning/HVAC in Keating Sports Center

• Renovating locker rooms in Keating Sports Center

• Improving Keating Sports Center's handicap accessibility

• Updated and additional tennis courts

• Turfing of Ed Glancy Field

• New diving boards in our Ecko Pool

• New bleachers and press box at Stuart Field

Opportunities for team travel are a tremendous bonding experience for our student-athletes. The distribution of the gear to all student-athletes helps us build an equitable and elevated student-athlete experience. Improvements to facilities help with recruiting, retention, and pride within our athletic community, as well as enhance the general student experience at Illinois Tech. Facilities also improve university’s overall marketability and longevity.
