Story
As we mark 20 years, we look ahead and recognise we need to develop our services to reach more people with the healthcare they need. To enable us to do this we are launching the Bridging the Gap fund which will allow us to:
Improve rapid response - when disaster happens speed is of the essence to save lives and contain diseases; turning the the tide between life and death.
Tackle escalating shipping costs - lack of funds shouldn’t be a barrier to delivering quality medicines. By alleviating financial strains on our NGO partners, we can better extend healthcare access to underserved communities worldwide.
Be more agile - addressing needs as they arise—whether that be a cholera outbreak or mass displacement—to ensure the most effective and impactful relief.
Have longevity - we know the impact of a disaster lasts significantly longer than the headlines in the news. We want to better support the long-term health needs of a disaster hit region as it recovers and rebuilds.
Without proper access to medicines and healthcare, the next generation will not be able to thrive. We will change this, we will bridge the gap.
Will you join us by donating to the Bridging the Gap fund?
Every donation made will be doubled, having twice the impact!
£10 could help rebuild health systems post disaster, by continuing to send medicines and medical supplies that will enhance the health and well-being of the affected population.
£20 could enable us to scale our healthcare programs, enhance access to essential medical services, and aid local pharmacies in maintaining sufficient stock levels for saving lives and empowering communities.
£50 could enable IHP to invest in research to grow and develop our programmes and activities reaching more people around the world.
Thank you for your support!
