Story
We believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.
Sadly, this isn’t the reality for many children and young people in our vulnerable communities.
Despite their high capabilities, disadvantaged pupils often feel that they don't stand a chance in life.
Since the pandemic, we have seen the educational attainment gap at its widest in over 10 years, with pupils in the North East achieving lower grades compared to their peers in other parts of the country. It’s not that children and young people from low socio-economic backgrounds are incapable, but rather, they are not provided with the same opportunities and resources as their peers.
As an educational charity, we firmly believe that having access to good quality education remains one of the most effective ways of improving social mobility and tackling inequality. Academic performance is not the only marker for success, but it is an essential tool that can help young people achieve their full potential.
Our Learning Hubs make a real difference.
They are relaxed community spaces where young people can receive support from volunteer peer tutor befrienders, who help with homework, build their confidence and reignite their love for learning. The Learning Hub is not just a place for academic support, but also a space where young people can make friends, have fun, and feel a sense of community and belonging.
With your support, Success4All will be able to reopen our Learning Hubs in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead & North Tyneside.
Imagine the impact we can make together.
Together, we can provide young learners with a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment, access to learning materials, laptops, and resources, and trained peer tutor befrienders who can provide them with valuable one-to-one tutoring and guidance.
Now more than ever, children and young people in our community need your support.
