Story
This is the strongest earthquake #Morocco has seen in a century, impacting an estimated 380,000 people. The numbers are staggering: over 2,500 casualties, thousands injured, and widespread structural damage, especially in the al-Haouz municipality. Many survivors are still trapped under rubble, desperately awaiting rescue. Morocco is reeling from aftershocks, which are expected to continue for weeks, if not months.

🤝 IDRF is collaborating with partners such as IBC, Global Medic, and the Al Amal Volunteer group to provide aid to those in need. Our efforts include distributing essential supplies like food parcels, hygiene packages, baby kits, tents, blankets, medical kits, and flashlights in Chichaoua. We are also working on establishing clean water solutions through point-of-use water purification units.
