In 2022, IAPWA and our partners are committed to spaying/neutering 3,000 dogs and cats through our Romania project to prevent thousands of helpless puppies and kittens being born to suffer. This forms part of our goal to provide 7,000 dogs and cats with veterinary services throughout our programmes this year.
Our neutering campaigns will focus on dogs and cats from a variety of backgrounds; from those living tough lives on the streets, to those in sanctuaries desperately waiting for their forever home. Wherever they live, they all have one thing in common; they are living in environments where giving birth to more puppies or kittens would place an even bigger strain on an already challenging situation within Romania.
We want to help change this. Through this appeal, we are aiming to reach our target of £12,500 to fund the first 500 spays and neuters.
With your help we can support strays on the streets so as they don't have to watch their young struggle for survival. With your help we can support sanctuaries who are already struggling with the burden of so many little mouths to feed. With your help we can support owners in caring for their pets to ensure they are not contributing to the overpopulation problem.
If you can, please spare a kind donation to help us kick start this mission and be part of the solution for 500 dogs and cats that desperately need your support right now. Thank you for caring.
