For a considerable number of years now, the Rotary Club of Hythe has always been present in the High Street during the Festive Season by collecting monies from the public all for the benefit of local charities concerned, come rain, storm or snow. Hythe Rotary's presence has always been accompanied by festive music being played and a well lit up Christmas tree outside The Town Hall in the High Street.
This year, there wont be a tree outside, but instead there will be Santa's Grotto for the children to go in and visit Santa! We will be having a lit up tree in the Town Square which is opposite The Swan Hotel. We have also on occasions shown a presence in some of the local supermarkets. Throughout this time of collecting, we usually raise good sums of cash for our local charities.
After missing out on our collection in 2020 we are determined to return with a bang this Christmas season. Please help us to help the local causes supporting the needy in our community.
