This campaign is in support of Howard University Students who are working diligently to become Social Justice Changemakers in the Music Business. Their training starts here.
The Warner Music/Blavatnik Center for Music Business at Howard University (School of Business) offers a one-year fellowship program for high potential students interested in pursuing business careers in the Music Industry. The center provides fellows with coaching, specialized curriculum, mentorship, and experience working with influential partner organizations. The center also serves as an academic hub to prepare Howards diverse students where they will receive world-class curriculum, career readiness training, executive-in-residence mentorship and exclusive certification programs. Our vision is to prepare diverse talent for business careers in the Music and Entertainment industry. We will train and assist graduating seniors with job skills and placements. We will also create Social Justice changemakers to represent our community's interests in the music and entertainment industry.
A $4.9 million dollar grant was so graciously awarded by The Warner Music/ Blavatnik Family Foundation in 2021. The goal of this campaign is to sustain our program so that we may serve as many Howard students as possible (over the years). The goal is to create sustainability for years to come. Howard University Students and Black and Brown Students globally deserve the opportunity to be successful in every industry.
