While the Covid-19 pandemic causes mass problems to our society, it is important that the most vulnerable have support. Famalies with a child who have or have had treatment are some of the most vulnerable in our communities.

Children in treatment will be vulnerable and isolating due to the potential fatal consequences of contacting any virus, however where they would have been able to access an online shop this has become an almost impossible task due to the amount of people requiring them. This is also the case with those who have finished treatment and their vulnerability due to the many medical problems treatment has caused. the risk of doing the weekly shop is far greater for those who are vulnerable as it could be transmitted back into the family home.

Hugs from Henry has set up the Covid Crisis appeal to help families who are vulnerable in pour society, through the delivery of hot and cold meals, food boxes and vouchers to those who need it most.

We desperately need the support of our community and businesses to help us to provide this service but also to survive this pandemic. Our usual ways of raising vital funds for the charity have all but stopped due to the closure of our charity shop and the cancelation of many of our events.
