Story

We are collecting £20,000 for the preparation of the sisters prayer area for 100 sister attendees. You can donate £200 to cover the cost of one musalla for sisters prayer area. We want to collect 10k for this project throught this justgiving campaign in sha Allah.

The Masjid is an essential part of the Islamic community. It serves as a place of worship as well as a centre for important dawah events and community gatherings.

As the congregation at Markaz Al-Huda is growing alhamdulillah, we launched the new expansion project to make new prayer halls catering for over 500 attendees.

So far, we have collected over £150,000 for renovation. The total estimated cost for the project is £200,000. Please donate generously to support your masjid as maintaining the masajid is a quality of the believers and rightly guided ones.

Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) says in the Quran: "The masajid of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided." Surah Tawbah, verse 18.

The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "Whoever builds a masjid intending Allah's pleasure, Allah will build for him a similar house in paradise." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Ramadan is a time of immense reward and Muslims donate much more for obvious reasons as this is the blessed month and, no doubt, blessed times and places become a reason for extra reward.

This is the sunnah of Rasoolullahi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) to spend more during Ramadan. Narrated Ibn `Abbas (Radi Allahu anhuma):

The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night during Ramadan to revise the Qur'an with him. Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) then used to be more generous than the fast wind. (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
