The theological studies program is designed to help students see themselves as ministers and equip them to serve in God's Kingdom, regardless of their vocation. It also aims to address the widespread minister shortage by preparing students to serve in local churches, careers, and communities while pursuing an outside vocation. The number of students involved in theological studies has increased by more than 600% in the last two years, and we aim to have 15% of the student body add theological studies as a second major. The theological studies program seeks to strengthen Christian identity and depth of calling, which requires intentional mentoring beyond traditional academic advising. Additional funds are needed to support this rapidly growing program as the current operating budget is based on Fall 2022 enrollment.
