Due to the weather, there is a straw shortage and impending hay shortage, this is of huge concern for us with so many mouths to feed, so we have some farmers working together to make sure we can get enough in stock to cover Winter and our team are busy rejigging to make space, but the farmers need paying up front for their supplies, as they too have many mouths to feed.

Our team have worked really hard fundraising and our Finance Manager secured us some grant funding, which has given us a good start and we have some lovely hay ready for Winter, but we need so much more, probably nearer to £20,000, but I have set the target on here at just £10,000 to make it feel more achievable for our amazing supporters and hopefully our planned events will bring the rest in, in time.
