Story
International Nurses day is a day of thanks for all the incredible support that nursing staff around the world give to people when they need it most. This year the coronavirus has made the support nurses give even more heroic, so we are asking you do something incredible to honour our nurses.
It costs Marie Curie £20 to provide one hour of nursing care. On 12th May we are asking you to donate £20 or an hour of your time to thank our heroic nurses.
How can I get involved?
Donate £20
Donate £20 and know you've funded an hour of vital nursing care. You could even use that hour for good, do something you've been avoiding, try something new or do something you love, in honour of those in their hour of need.
Donate an hour
Why not use the hour to fundraise for Marie Curie? You could host an online quiz or class for your friends. Or set yourself a physical challenge for an hour and ask for sponsorship.
Challenge 20
As long as you stay within the government guidelines on social distancing and exercising you can get as creative as you want around the number 20. Why not do 20 laps of your garden, 20 push ups or cycle 20km or a challenge over 20 days?
Hour In Need Challenge
Donate £20 to this page, put on a Marie Curie (or yellow) top and do an hours activity. Dont forget to share on social media and encourage your friends!
Whatever you do, whenever you do it, no matter how much you raise or donate we will be extremely thankful, and you'll help our nurses be there for more people in their hour of need.
