Story
Our dedicated team of staff and healthcare professionals aim to meet the unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those with a life-limiting illness, and to help maintain their dignity. We provide specialist palliative care for people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses, at all stages of their illness.
Were not just focused on our patients either. We fully recognise that its also a difficult time for relatives, carers & friends and we provide support for them too.
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.1million to run each year with just 20% of the funding received coming from statutory sources. The remaining 80% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of the generous local community in Cheshire. In addition, they raise money through their local charity shops and weekly lottery.
Our amazing Camino de Santiago team are hoping to raise an amazing amount of money to help the Hospice of the Good Shepherd provide their exceptional care every day!
GOOD LUCK and THANK YOU to everyone taking part in this trek.
