Story
Thanks to a recent donation of 70 hospital beds, we're able to provide our partners at the infectious diseases ward of Mpilo Hospital in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe with much needed equipment for ongoing patient care.
Previously, Dumi International Aid completed a large renovation project to bring the ward up to modern standards of care. At the time, we hoped to secure enough beds to fully supply the ward, but did not have enough funds to do so. Now, thanks to this new donation of beds, we have the stock we need to provide the ward with the beds they need to provide essential care to more vulnerable people in need of care.
We just need to get them there.
Your donations will help us cover the costs of transporting the beds from storage here in the UK all the way to the hospital ward itself. We can only stack the beds two high without damaging them, so we'll need to use 5 shipping containers at £6000 each to get them all there.
We can't thank our supporters enough for their generosity in the past, and we hope you'll stand with us to support patients in Africa to receive the standard of care we all deserve.
Together we can.
