On 13 July 2024 we are inviting everyone to come together and celebrate all things summer, while raising all-important funds for Hospiscare! Every day matters, and that’s why hundreds of people will be stepping out on this 7 mile sponsored walk; to spend time with loved ones, to laugh and talk about fond memories and create new ones – and most of all, to make a difference.

Hospiscare is a local charity, providing palliative and end-of-life care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Although we can’t change a terminal diagnosis, we want to be there, ensuring those with life-limiting illnesses receive the expert care they need, at no cost to them or their families. We want to be there for the friends and families of our patients, providing the support and advice they need.

But now, we need your help more than ever. Hospiscare receives less than half the national average of statutory funding, and - despite the difference our care makes to the lives of many Devonians and the determined support of thousands of local people - we are facing a £2.5 million funding gap which could force us to axe services.
