Story

Walk for Northern Ireland Hospice!

Spring is in the air and were delighted to announce the return of our popular Hospice Walk!

This year marks the 40th year of our annual Hospice Walk campaign, and whilst COVID-19 restrictions means that we are unable to join together in person to mark this special occasion, we're encouraging you to put your best foot forward and join in our 40th celebrations by taking part virtually on Sunday 18th April 2021 or a day that suits you!

You can do your Hospice Walk in memory of a loved one, to show your support for a loved one who is currently being care for by Hospice, or simply walk to help lift the lockdown blues, we'd love for you to join us!

The best part about taking virtually is that you can choose your own route and distance, and complete it at a time that suits you best! For example, on your lunch break or before you start work.

Even if you're shielding, you can still complete your Hospice Walk from the comfort and safety of your own home by doing laps of your garden or walk up and down your stairs!

Walking regularly is one of the easiest ways to improve our mental health, as well as helping us stay active during the lockdown and at home.

This year's Hospice Walk is free to take part in. If you raise £50 or more, you will receive a Hospice eco-branded water bottle, and a commemorative 40th-anniversary medal.

Please join us and support Hospice.
