Hospice Care Week is taking place from 8-14 October! This years theme is Heart my hospice, which gives us the perfect excuse to go out and talk about the extraordinary work that hospices do at the heart of their communities. It takes a lot of love to give people the end of life care they need and deserve. Lots of people, resources and money go to make hospice care possible, but it is only possible because people like you, care. The heart is the pump that makes everything else work. There are many ways you can say I Heart My Hospice!

Hospice care transforms lives. It is there for us through life, through death and through grief. Every year in the UK, hospices provide vital care to 200,000 adults and children with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, as well as providing support for many of their loved ones. By supporting Hospice UK we can help hospice care providers up and down the country to deliver the highest quality of care to people with life-limiting or terminal conditions and their families.

To help us achieve our ambition we are going to be challenging you to Go Yellow for Hospice UK. We have created a fundraising pack which has got loads of ideas on how to get involved in the day, whether it be dressing in yellow, purchasing one of our sunflower badges or even having a custard bath! We have plenty of marketing materials which you can download to shout about your fundraising which can share with your colleagues, friends and family.
