For nearly 60 years Horsham Lions Club has supported the neediest and most vulnerable people in the Horsham Community. This year Horsham Lions has identified a significant number of families and children in our community who need our help. These families will receive a Christmas Parcel of festive food and the children will receive Christmas presents or vouchers appropriate for their ages. The total cost of undertaking this support will be in excess of £2500.
This year poverty is possibly going to be the worst in living memory. Covid Christmas' were bad enough experiences but this year the financial strain on families having to choose between eating food and keeping warm is not acceptable.
We hope to provide for as many of these Horsham families as we can by asking you to dig deep and help them to eat and stay warm this Christmas. A little compassion and love goes a very long way, but food and warmth cost!
