In 2023 Horsham District Foodbank provided 10,220 emergency food parcels to people facing hardship. This is the most parcels our charity has ever provided, even during the pandemic. As 2024 begins, we are bracing ourselves for an even busier year helping those suffering food and energy poverty due to increasingly stretched household incomes.
Horsham Matters provides practical support, be it through emergency food parcels, energy vouchers, or a free hot meal at our weekly community cafe. We also provide basic household essentials such as a bed, mattress or furniture to those newly housed after homelessness or escaping insecure living situations.
Alongside this we offer a range of advice services that make a long-term difference; from household budgeting and benefits advice, to advocacy and counselling.
We are committed to making life better for the most vulnerable in our community, but we need your help to do this.
Your donation, however small, can make a difference.
