Story
ABOUT KAKUMA
Kakuma refugee camp is located in the North-western region of Kenya. The camp was established in 1992 following the arrival of the Lost Boys of Sudan. During that year, large groups of Ethiopian refugees fled their country following the fall of the Ethiopian government. Somalia had also experienced high insecurity and civil strife causing people to flee.
Kakuma camp and the neighboring Kalobeyei Integrated Settlement had a population of 196,666 registered refugees and asylum-seekers at the end of July 2020.
Due to the ongoing conflicts in South Sudan and Ethiopia, and the indeterminate long-term legal status of the refugees, residents of the camp have little hope for a better tomorrow.
ABOUT US
We've spent over a decade developing a video-based Bible and ministry program, Nation-2-Nation Christian University, that can be used anywhere in the world to meet the need for discipleship.
As leaders are trained, they are changing history in a way that will be felt for generations.
Marriages are healed, families are restored, communities are united, the hungry are fed, the widows and orphans are cared for, and the uncompromising truth of God is proclaimed.
This is the church we are building up worldwide...a church that goes.
