As we approach a full month in lockdown, families across the UK will be styling out the lockdown and joining in with the Home Hairstyle Challenge. They'll be letting their children loose on their locks and asking their friends to sponsor them or donate the cost they would normally spend on a haircut to Plan International UKs Coronavirus: Childrens Emergency Appeal. Will you take part too?

Join in the UKs biggest, most unpredictable hair-do now and you'll be supporting children and communities impacted by the coronavirus whilst your family give you a new look.

Across the UK we are seeing communities come together in these troubling and unprecedented times. Many of our incredible supporters have been in touch to let us know theyre thinking of the children they support. We know this might be an extremely difficult time for many of you reading this, and we'd like to thank you for your vital commitment to giving every child, every chance. We simply could not do our work without you.

The coronavirus crisis is of course having a devastating impact on family lives all over the world, and for children in the worlds most vulnerable communities, the challenge couldnt be greater. Especially for those living in crowded conditions like refugee camps where social distancing simply isnt an option.

So whatever your hairstyle, let your children give you a new do and help to provide life-saving support to children and families who have been affected by this horrible virus.

2.Set up a fundraising page and ask friends and family to sponsor your #HomeHairStyleChallenge

To create a fundraising page click 'Fundraise', select 'Doing Your Own Thing' and then add in your details and click 'Create Your Page' and you're good to go!

3.Make sure to share photos of your new 'do' using #HomeHairStyleChallenge
