Holymoorside Pre-School has been a vital part of our local community since the 1960s, providing high quality education for 2- 5 year-olds. The last few years have been some of the toughest years of trading we have seen. The impacts of covid were far reaching, not only did we have to close for months, but financially this meant we were under funded for quite some time.

The number of children attending has returned back to pre-pandemic levels, and it is lovely to see so many children enjoying our setting.

Unfortunately, the last couple of years have depleted our financial reserves, and although we are now just covering costs with the funding and income we receive, we really need to build those reserves back up to ensure our future financial stability, so we can continue to provide high quality and affordable childcare for the decades to come.

As a registered charity we have always tried to keep our fees low, and over the last few years have not done much fundraising, but now we must raise some funds.
